Pemanfaatan Kertas Bekas Sebagai Buket Bunga Bernilai Jual pada Siswa Kelas 5 UPT SD Negeri 07 Mudiak Lawe

Abstrak

This study aims to describe the utilization of used paper as a creative and marketable flower bouquet product among fifth-grade students of UPT SD Negeri 07 Mudiak Lawe. The research stems from the problem of students’ low creativity in recycling materials and the limited implementation of entrepreneurial-based learning activities at school. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation to capture the learning process comprehensively. During the activity, students were guided to identify types of used paper, process the materials, and shape them into decorative flower bouquets with aesthetic and commercial value. This hands-on project allowed students to explore ideas, express artistic skills, and develop a sense of responsibility toward environmental sustainability. The findings reveal significant improvements in students’ creativity, confidence, and awareness of recycling practices. Students were able not only to produce visually appealing bouquet products but also to understand the concept of value-added goods and simple entrepreneurial principles such as pricing, product attractiveness, and potential market demand. Additionally, the activity fostered collaboration, discipline, and enthusiasm for learning. Overall, this study provides an important contribution to project-based learning by combining environmental education, creativity development, and entrepreneurship, making it highly relevant for elementary education settings
