Abstrak

This research is motivated by the low fine motor skills of children in Group B, specifically regarding hand-eye coordination and finger muscle flexibility. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of simple sewing activities using cloud-shaped felt media in improving children's fine motor skills. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study are children in Group B (aged 5-6 years). Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and performance assessment. The results indicate a significant improvement in children's fine motor skills, as evidenced by their accuracy in threading and the neatness of their stitches on the cloud media. In conclusion, simple sewing activities with engaging media can be an effective solution to stimulate fine motor development in early childhood.
