Abstrak

his research into the development of learning media for educational mathematical maze games aims to improve the problem solving abilities of the arithmetic operations material for addition and subtraction of negative integers in grade 6 elementary school students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Develop, 4) Implement, and 5) Evaluate. Product validation is carried out by experts with an expert validation sheet. The practicality of the product was tested with a limited trial on 6 students followed by distributing questionnaires to see student responses. This research uses a preliminary study data collection technique which consists of three stages, namely literature study, field survey, and preparation of an initial product draft. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive techniques. The results of this research indicate that the level of validity of the development of mathematical maze educational game products in improving the problem solving abilities of grade 6 elementary school students according to material experts and media experts is in the very good category. The results of limited test research by 6 students are included in the good category. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the mathematical maze educational game media to improve the problem solving abilities of grade 6 elementary school students is suitable for use in learning.
