Abstrak

Learning media is an important element in the educational process, especially in teaching basic mathematics. Counting media for addition in the form of fingers is a learning support tool that is created to resemble fingers with an interesting combination. Counting media for addition in the form of fingers is designed to teach basic arithmetic concepts, especially addition, by utilizing fingers as an interactive visual medium. The use of media in the teaching and learning process is important because it can generate new interests and desires, motivation and stimulation of learning activities, and even bring psychological influences to children. The method used in this study is the demonstration research method, where researchers show the steps or stages of addition using fingers. The results of the study showed that the use of fingers as a learning medium not only makes it easier for students to understand the concept of addition, but also increases their involvement and interest in learning. Students who use this media show significant improvements in learning outcomes compared to conventional methods.
