Pembuatan Media Pembelajaran Pop Up Book Kelinci dan Kura-kura

Abstrak

Learning media is anything that can be used to provide learning information to students to help the learning process run (Muhammad Nazri et al, 2022). Pop up book media is a book that displays the potential for movement and interaction through the use of paper as a material for folds, rolls, and shapes. Pop up books, an interactive reading media with three-dimensional visual elements, have emerged as a potential solution to increase children's involvement in reading activities. Several studies, such as those conducted by Harini (2020) in the journal Educatinonal Media Review, show that the use of pop up books can improve basic literacy skills in early grade students. This research is a type of research method used Analysis, Design. , Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The problem of this research is that the low interest in readers among elementary school age children is an important concern in the world of education. According to data submitted by UNESCO (2021), the literacy level of children in developing countries, including Indonesia, is still in the low category. One of the causes is monotonous learning methods that do not attract students' attention. This research aims to find out how the use of pop up books affects elementary school children's interest and understanding in reading in environments with low literacy levels. This research also seeks to fill the gap in the literature regarding the implementation of pop up books as an interactive and effective learning tool.
