Abstrak

This research aims to overcome the difficulties of learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the concept of Earth's atmospheric layers. The problem of this research is the lack of understanding and interest in students' learning. The aim of this research is to develop effective and innovative concrete learning media to increase students' understanding. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the stages of needs analysis, design, development and media evaluation. The research results show that the learning media developed can increase students' understanding by 85% and interest in learning by 90%. This media was also considered effective and innovative by 95% of respondents. This research contributes to the development of innovative and effective science and science learning media, so that it can help improve the quality of science and science learning in schools. These results can be a reference for the development of other learning media.
